Games101 supports all major credit cards including Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, JCB and American Express. We regret to advise we do not accept Diners, Visa Electron or EFT/debit cards.
Credit Card Surcharges are applicable, and wil be applied at checkout: AMEX/JCB 3%, Visa/Mastercard NIL%.
All of our credit card payments are securely processed by SecurePay , with Games101 appearing in your credit card statement followed by a unique transaction code.
No credit card details are stored by us on any server, and each transaction is handled on a case by case transaction basis by our payment gateway provider, SecurePay.
Anti Fraud Measures
We take active measures against online fraud. This includes working with our bank, BankWest and utilising their advanced fraud protection measures in addition to Games101 checking the authenticity of orders. Orders may be manually confirmed by our staff in order to safeguard credit card accounts - it is vital that accurate phone, email and delivery address information are entered into your account details.
For your security and ours, Games101 operates the Merchant Protect to actively and positively authenticate credit card payments.
We reserve the right at all times to ask you to reasonably identify yourself as being the credit card holder prior to Games101 shipping any orders. By placing an order with Games101, you agree to provide information to assist with identity verification checks at our request.
Bank Deposit/Cheque/Money Order
Games101 now accepts direct deposit bank to bank transfer or payment by cheque or money order.
Select this option at checkout, and follow the instructions in the email once your order is processed.

We would normally expect to receive direct deposit payment within 2-4 business days.
With a cheque or money order, please include a print out of your Games101 order email, addressed to Games101, PO Box 429, Richmond, Vic, 3121).
Please note that we will not despatch goods until funds are cleared into our bank account, and cheques may take a further 5-7 business days to clear from when we receive them in the post. Any orders to which we dont receive payment or notification are cancelled within 10 days or so.
International customers sending packages to Australian addresses can also select this option, set up the order and delivery address, and then contact us to arrange payment.
Games101 is proud to offer PayPal to all our customers.
The service allows anyone to pay in any way they prefer, including through credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit or account balances, without sharing financial information.
As PayPal charges merchants very high fees, there is a 3% surcharge for using PayPal at our store. Paying by PayPal means that you will temporarily leave our site to go to PayPal's, process payment, and then return, whilst in a secure transaction environment at all times.
Please note, that as we are not eBay, we need to charge the PayPal surcharge to recoup the high fees they impose on merchants outside of eBay.
Note that PayPal's eCheque option takes up to 7 days for payment to reach Games101 - so, we will not dispatch your order until the eCheque clears. For faster processing, use our SecurePay gateway for credit cards or regular PayPal transfers.
Please note that Games101 requires that PayPal accounts are "verified" by PayPal or manually by Games101 staff prior to processing of orders.
Where Customers use "unverified" PayPal accounts, Games101 will require that Customers provide identification details directly to Games101 prior to further processing of orders. Customers may subsequently become PayPal Verified following placement of an order with us as an "unverified" customer. Please advise us when this occurs.
When Is My Credit Card or PayPal Charged?
Your credit card or PayPal is charged when you place your order at the "Confirm Order" stage. This follows presentation of, and your acceptance of a full tax invoice. The Tax Invoice details freight, surcharges and applicable discounts. By confirming your order you accept the details on the Tax Invoice as being correct and applicable (except in the case of any error by us) and that your card or PayPal account will be charged with the amount shown.
When placing an order you will be presented with 3 options, Order Now, Order Now (items on backorder) and Pre-Order Now.
- Order Now is for product that is currently in stock and will be sent within 1 business day of placing your order.
- Order Now with Backorder notice is for items due back in stock with a due date shown. These will be sent within 1 business day of receiving stock, and usually ship within 5-10 days from placement of your order. Shippimng may take an addition 2-5 days dependent upon your loaction in Australia.
- Pre-Order Now Products marked as "Pre-order" are not yet in stock but are expected to ship by the expected stock date shown.
- Games101 will contact you should dates vary by more than 48 hours if you have placed an order with us.
When I check my account, my status shows as "Verifying Details"
This can occur if a) you use an unverified PayPal account or b) some or part of your address or contact details are incorrect or c) we receive an antifraud message from your bank via the secure electronic payment gateway or d) there is some other issue with your order.
If paying by PayPal, this can generally be avoided by "verifying" your account with PayPal in advance of placing an order with us.
Generally, we may ask you to do one of the following things to assist us to resolve the matter, including providing copies of photo identification, proof of address or by verifying that you are the credit card holder in another way. We may verify that you are the credit card holder by redepositing small, random sums back into your credit card and requesting that you advise us of these credits before we proceed to process your order.

Verification increases the security of the PayPal payment network for sellers and buyers. Verification gives PayPal additional evidence of a member's identity and lets others know that you have completed this process.
Account holders become Verified when they complete the PayPal verification process. To become Verified, log in to your PayPal account, click the Unverified link [Top right] and follow the instructions.
